Problem
This proposal explores an alternative to managing consultant appointments through phone calls and paper records. The brief covers session discovery, reservations, confirmation, and staff administration.
Approach
I built a patient booking interface alongside staff tools for doctors, schedules, walk-ins, audit history, and reports. The booking design includes transaction-based seat reservation, phone-number normalisation, and a queue for outgoing messages.
Hospital branding and feature settings are kept in configuration so the demonstration can be adapted without rewriting the booking flow.
Current status
Deployed as a demonstration under a sample hospital brand. It has not been commissioned, and the existing project notes report no real patient bookings. Screenshots show the patient-facing flow.
The SMS setup still needs a production-readiness review. The public demo link is withheld here while that is unresolved; production SMS, real hospital content, and pre-launch checks remain outside this portfolio project.
